If you pre-registered or have a series pass and already have a number, you’re good. Just head to the start line of your race. If you pre-registered but don’t have a number, stop by registration and they’ll get you sorted out. Want to change categories? Just make sure to stop by and get yourself a new number for the new category.
Tamale Boy will be out serving their fantastic tamales all night. Remember that if you were one of the folks that missed your start, let the folks at Tamale Boy know and they'll hook you up with a tamale on me.
Hole shot winner last week? Big check waiting for you at registration this week.
Apparently quite a few folks read this far (impressive) and mentioned my comment on the Luddites. I'm a big fan of Ned and his concern for craft so don't get me wrong. I also like electronic shifting. I think it might even be best on frames that are made out of metal. I've reconciled this so if you want to shun electronic registration in favor of a more personalized experience, I'm cool with that!
Gladys Bikes and the ‘Cross Curious Club will be hosting a clinic again this before the racing starts each night to get new riders ready for the season. You can drop in to one or all them throughout the series. Info can be found on the site.
Metropolis Cycles will be at the races each week providing neutral support for all racers. Stop by and give them some love, we couldn't do the race without them. Seriously, they were helping set up to make sure that we had a course to race on and still had the energy to work on bikes, give high fives and race some races themselves.
Now let's get out there to make some good photos for the folks out there on the internet!
